Tonight I am leaving for an adventure to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. For some reason I have been called to go to Tulum this year. I will find out why-very soon. Of course I want to do a tree shrine there and I am still grappling with the potential of being arrested for doing art in public. I had a great conversation with Eco artist Gloria Lamson about this subject. It is something to consider when doing art in public space. At times the audience just doesn't get what you are doing. I write more when I get back.I am really excited to experience a few of the Mayan sacred sites.
